90-Second Regulation Protocol

Use this in real time before any trade that feels rushed, forced, or too certain.

THE PATTERN

Nervous system urgency happens when your body feels pressure to act now. The trade feels emotionally loud and immediate. Often the body is hungry for discharge. The strategy stays quiet.

WHEN TO USE

Before any trade that feels rushed, forced, or uncomfortably certain.

THE TOOL

Pause. Re-check the chart.

Take the 90-Second Pause.

Take your hand off the mouse.Move your eyes away from the entry button.Exhale slowly for longer than you inhale.Relax your jaw, shoulders, belly, and hands.

Body Check.

What do I feel right now: tightness, heat, buzzing, shallow breath, pressure, fear, excitement, urgency?Rate the intensity, 1 to 10.

Clarity Questions.

Is this setup still valid if I slow down?Would I take this trade if I felt calm?Is the urgency coming from the chart, or from my body?

Decision Rule.

If it holdsIf the setup is still valid after you regulate, execute it.

If it fadesIf it disappears when you regulate, your body was trading. Your strategy knew better.
